Well . . . *you* try making a list of only 101 TBRs.
How in the world shall I transmit to you the list of books that I intend to read? The goal is to read 101 books over these 1001 days, but things got out of hand. Currently, the list sits at 381 tomes, and there are more books to be discovered.
One idea I have with these is a bit strange. I will read them in alphabetical order by title. That’s not the strange part. I did that to force myself to read things I would normally skip. Here’s where it gets a bit dicey: every three books will be merged into one fantastical blog entry in which I combine aspects of each of the reads into one short story.
An exception comes up when there are a group of books that all begin with the same word. In this case, no matter how many books fit the criteria, they will all be combined. So, the Arts of Creativity, Empathy, Life, and War will all be mashed up together.
I read a few books before coming up with the idea, but the first group that fits the bill consist of:
- 84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff
- Again, Rachel by Marian Keyes
- Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
